Bio
Participating in is first golf tournament at the age of 7, Bob
would go on to have a great amateur career, winning the Trans-Mississippi
Amateur, the Georgia Open and was selected to the World Amateur
Team in 1980.
Bob was a three-time 1st Team All-American at Oklahoma State
University. While attending he became the 1979 Big 8 Champion,
winning two NCAA Team Championships and a recipient of the Fred
Haskins Player of the Year Award in 1981.
Bob joined the PGA Tour in 1985 and has recorded eight career
tour victories including a major championship win at the 1986
PGA Championship and later that year would go on to claim the
PGA Player of the Year Award.
Bob is married to Tammie and they have two children Kevin and
Carly. Kevin is also an accomplished junior player, the 2005 U.S.
Junior Amateur Champion and a two-time Rolex Junior All-American.
